In the first week of the first quarter, we were introduced to w3.css and we downloaded the w3.css file and IDE Brackets that we will use in coding our own website for the folowing weeks. In next 2 weeks, we planned the design of our own website and we did the wire frame for the design. In the following weeks, we already started coding a website. We tried different styles like the code for responsive, which specifies the space where will you put the subject, and the container that adds spaces on the sides.
~Week 1 - Week 7~
In second quarter, we started with the border designs. We also discussed the w3-card codes that adds some shadow effect on the subject and make it looks like floating. Next is we discussed about the default sizes of fonts. We also discussed the w3-round, which makes the corners of the subject more round shaped, and w3-padding, that adds spaces to the top and bottom to make the subject no to close on the edges. On the last week of 2nd quarter, we discussed the w3-display codes, which specifies the positions of the subject on the screen.
~Week 8 - Week 13~
In third quarter, we discussed first the buttons. The next week, we discussed the the different inputs wherein you can make a form and type using the codes of w3-input. Next is the badges and tags. The badges are circular and black by default, while tags are rectangular-shaped which are also a color black as its default color. Next are the different animations which animates the certain subject on the website. Next are the dropdowns, accordion, and sidebars. The dropdowns are subjects that when you click it, there will be content that will be dropped down, and shown. Lastly are the modals wherein of you click the subject, it will be maximized and you can also add more details in it.
~Week 14 - Week 19~
In the last quarter, we discussed the different effects. The effects includes the opacity, grayscale and sepia. The opacity effect adds transparency effect to an element. The grayscale effect adds grayscale effect to an element, or adds a gray-shade on the element. Last is the sepia effect which adds a sepia or brown-shade effect to an element. The last lesson we had in the 4th quarter was the w3-top or w3-bottom. It makes the header or footer, or the bar on top or bottom stay on its place when you scroll on the site.
